Hi, I’m Jaime.

Let me tell you a bit about myself

I know food. But I’m not a foodie. I use colour and composition and I’m handy with a brush. But I prefer Japanese steel. I have an eye for detail. But I like to look at the bigger picture. I’m the guy who gets there early and stays back late. I’m the calm one who sees the job through. My first words are always “Can do” and my last are always “Thank you”.

I grew up in kitchens, here and overseas, and I have the scars to prove it. I’ve learned to be fast, clean and always prepared; a team player you can rely on with a steady hand in the eye of the storm.

I have always loved art: old and new. Lifelong interest in painting and sculpture led me to earn a fine arts degree that sets me apart from other food stylists. It’s not about food on a plate. It’s about the way an image or an object communicates a message through colour, composition and media. 

So today in my work, I combine the two: art and food; passion and providence; paint brushes and knives.

My work has featured extensively across all media. I have worked for some of the biggest global brands and have sat around kitchen tables with start-ups. But every job is bespoke.

It’s my goal to help you get the very best results. I understand how important your product, your campaign, your client, is to you. I approach every job with the enthusiasm of my first because I know that I’m only as good as my last.
